Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

1. Service provider

These terms govern the use of services provided by Oedon, a self-employed IT company registered in Spain. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Oedon provides IT labour services including integration and automation, data processing and cleansing, and data scraping and extraction. The specific scope and acceptance test for each engagement is agreed upon in writing (email or chat) before work begins.

3. Acceptance testing

Every deliverable has a concrete, binary acceptance test agreed before work starts. The deliverable either passes the test or it does not ship. Oedon will fix any deliverable that does not pass its agreed acceptance test at no additional cost.

4. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are quoted in EUR.
  • Jobs are priced per deliverable, from 300 to 3,000 EUR depending on scope.
  • The exact price is quoted and agreed before work begins.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Changes to scope may result in adjusted pricing, communicated and agreed before additional work begins.

5. Communication

All communication is text-based: email or the chat on our website. We do not offer phone calls or video meetings. We respond to messages within 24 hours during business days.

6. Delivery

  • Estimated timelines are provided before work begins.
  • Oedon will communicate any delays promptly.
  • Deliverables are considered accepted when they pass the agreed acceptance test, or 14 days after delivery if no objection is raised.

7. Intellectual property

  • Deliverables created for a client are owned by the client upon full payment.
  • Oedon retains the right to use general techniques, tools, and frameworks for other projects.
  • Third-party libraries included in deliverables remain under their respective licenses.

8. Liability

  • Oedon's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific job in question.
  • Oedon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
  • The client is responsible for maintaining backups of their own data.

9. Acceptable use

Oedon does not work with the following industries:

  • Gambling
  • Alcohol
  • Pork products
  • Financial services or interest-based (riba) products
  • Legal services

We reserve the right to decline any engagement at our discretion.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives completion of the service.

11. Cancellation

Either party may cancel an engagement before work begins at no cost. If work has started, the client pays for work completed to date. Partially completed deliverables will be delivered as-is.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Spain.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. For active engagements, significant changes will be communicated via email before taking effect.
